Choose a Photo That Feels Like Them

The best personalized pet cards start with a photo that captures your pet's personality.

A great photo helps UTFI create a keepsake that feels meaningful, recognizable, and unique.

What Makes a Great Pet Photo?

Clear and Focused

Choose a photo where your pet is easy to see.

Recommended:

✓ Sharp image quality
✓ Visible face and features
✓ Natural expression
✓ Good contrast

Avoid:

✗ Blurry images
✗ Screenshots
✗ Very small photos
✗ Extremely cropped images

Use Good Lighting

Bright, natural lighting usually creates the best results.

Helpful tips:

  • Use photos taken near windows or outdoors
  • Avoid very dark environments
  • Avoid strong shadows covering your pet's features

Keep Your Pet as the Main Focus

For the best personalized result:

  • Your pet should be clearly visible
  • Avoid photos where your pet is very far away
  • Avoid images with objects covering important features

Avoid Heavy Filters

Original photos usually work best.

Avoid:

  • Strong color filters
  • Excessive editing
  • Cartoon effects
  • Screenshots from social media

Natural photos help preserve your pet's unique appearance.

One Photo Per Personalized Design

Each personalized card design uses one selected pet photo.

If you are creating cards for multiple pets, create each design separately so each pet receives their own personalized experience.
